Jonah Hill took a heartwarming selfie on the streets of Manhattan on Friday in front of a building mural featuring his sister, Beanie Feldstein. (And if you’ve never been to the Big Apple, yes, that’s how pay parking lots work in a city where everything is vertical. It’s like Tetris.)

“Iconic sister alert,” Hill wrote in his caption with a red siren emoji.

Jonah and Beanie’s mother, Sharon Feldstein, chimed in with a “Yup.” Beanie added some crying emojis for the digital group hug.

In addition to appearing in Gucci’s new campaign (which she referred to as “the most beautiful I’ve ever felt in my whole life”), this is Beanie’s big weekend with the opening night of Funny Girl at the August Wilson Theatre. (Tix are still available.)

The Jule Styne-penned musical about the life of vaudevillian Fanny Brice catapulted Barbra Streisand to superstardom in 1964, and she won the Best Actress Oscar for the film adaptation a few years later. This is the legendary show’s first Broadway revival since the original. Feldstein appears opposite Ramin KarimlooJared Grimes, and Jane Lynch.

Feldstein recently told the Times of Israel that her admiration for the show seems to predate her first memories. “I’ve always loved it as far as I’m concerned,” she said. She also noted that she “truly believe[s] that any Jewish woman who wants to be funny and perform and sing owes something to Fanny Brice.” Regarding her singing, she added, “not to flex, but I was a junior cantor.”

Beanie (given name Elizabeth) is the baby of the family at age 28, while brother Jonah is ten years older at 38. Sadly, the eldest Feldstein sibling, Jordan Feldstein, died at the age of 40 in December 2017. The music industry professional, who managed the group Maroon 5 among others, succumbed to a leg blood clot

In an interview with The Cut in early March, Beanie called Hill her best friend. “We lost our brother,” she said, “so we have a very, very deep connection, and he’s like one of the most important people in my whole life, and being his sister is like my greatest joy.”
