Los Angeles-headquartered talent management company Milk & Honey, whose roster spans both the music and sports industries, has been signed up to represent three music-makers who’ve all enjoyed recent global chart success.

The company, led by President & Founder, Lucas Keller, has signed each of JHart, The Elements, and Alexis Kesselman.

The company said in a media release that “the signing of these three creatives once again cements the company’s belief in songwriters that can also be artists, executive producers and entrepreneurs, with bigger ambitions & stories to tell”.

Over the past decade, singer-songwriter-producer-vocal producer and arranger, J Hart, has written tracks for artists such as Justin Bieber, Keith Urban, Kevin Gates, Kygo, Camila Cabello, One Republic, Troye Sivan, Jon Bellion, Kelsea Ballerini, Usher, Charlie Puth, Illenium, and many more.

The British creative (real name: James Abrahart) has written tracks with over 25 million in equivalent sales, including Keith Urban’s US Country Airplay No.1, Wasted Time, as well as two tracks on Justin Bieber’s No.1 2015 album, Purpose.

Said Lucas Keller: “I’ve long thought that JHart is one of the greatest songwriters and voices in the business, and we’re going to show that to the world now more than ever before.

“He has so many great ambitions as an artist, as a curator, as an entrepreneur — I believe in him so much, and he’s a main priority for our company for 2023 and beyond.”

Keven Wolfsohn and Paul Bogum, more commonly known as London-based production duo The Elements, work across the pop, hip-hop and Afrobeat genres.

Their recent/notable cuts include “It’s Plenty” by Burna Boy, “Serotonin” by Tom Walker, “Paranoia” by PopSmoke ft. Gunna & Young Thug, “Ginger Me” by Rema, and “Roadside” by Mahalia ft. AJ Tracey.

The duo have co-created four Top 10 UK records since 2019, recently working with Mabel, Zara Larsson, Burna Boy, Elley Duhe, J Hus, and Ayra Starr. Milk & Honey says The Elements plan on spending a significant amount of time working in the US in 2023.

Platinum-selling songwriter, producer, composer, and vocalist, Alexis Kesselman, had a smash hit last year with Joji’s “Glimpse of Us”, which topped the Spotify Global and US charts, and landed in the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100.

Kesselman has also developed her own artist project under the name Idarose with a dedicated fanbase that is nearing two million streams on her self-produced breakout single “When I Don’t Have You.”

At Milk & Honey, JHart will be managed by Lucas Keller, Nic Warner, and Danny Herrle; both The Elements and Alexis Kesselman will be managed by Keller, Warner and Justin Frazier (with The Elements additionally managed out of the UK by Ant Hippsley).

Today, Milk & Honey has offices in Los Angeles, London, New York, Nashville, Sydney Dallas and as well as a sports division (Milk & Honey Sports) that is an agency and marketing company representing over 20 athletes in the NFL, plus a new Baseball division with over 10 in the MLB.

The company’s roster – numbering over 125 clients – ranges from songwriters and producers like David Hodges, Oak Felder, Sir Nolan, Noah Goldstein, Jenna Andrews, Jamie Hartman, Andrés Torres, Stuart Price, and Mauricio Rengifo to top 20 global DJs like Oliver Heldens and Benny Benassi.

During the pandemic, Milk & Honey sold over $150 million in publishing catalogs as a songwriter representative and broker.

The company’s clients have contributed to some of the biggest global hits of the streaming age, including Dua Lipa’s “Levitating,” BTS’ chart-topping “Butter,” Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber’s “Despacito,” and James Arthur’s “Say You Won’t Let Go”.Music Business Worldwide
