While the buildup to summer has been slow, due to fluctuating temperatures and worrisome air quality, it seems as if it is finally here and the crowd at the pop-up shop’s launch on Thursday was eager to celebrate. During the launch event, the who’s who of the Hamptons—which included Candace Bushnell, Bobbi Brown, Hannah Bronfman, Maria Dueñas Jacobs, Brendan Fallis, Charlotte Groeneveld, Jenne Lombardo, and mayor of East Hampton Jerry Larsen, among others—enjoyed cocktails from Sainte Marguerite en Provence Symphonie Rose and Perrier-Jouët Champagne, while snacking on hors d’oeuvres.
“Mother Nature is the last great luxury house, and we are purveyors of her goods,” Aaron Harvey, cofounder of Flamingo Estate and partner to Christiansen, said. As Christiansen and Harvey took a moment to reflect on Flamingo Estate, Stewart, who considers the duo to be her friends, offered a suggestion for one of their most beloved products. “You mix the honey with egg yolk and put it on your face, and that’s how I keep my beautiful skin. It tightens your whole skin,” she said.
